A decade has passed since 1000 Seconds commanded dance floors across the country. One of Soul Candi’s legendary signings, BlackwHole, topped charts on many respectable House music publications, radio stations, DJ sets and ruled many parties. With its haunting synth keys, trailing brass pad and that persistent vox, you stood no chance against the massive hit ‘1000 Seconds’ was.

After a brief khokumoyanyana (break), BlackwHole a.k.a Mr Cee literally jumps back in line to continue where he left off. He hooked up a scorcher, this time under UPZ owned soWhat Records.

BlackwHole ‘And In Time’

Its deep, Afro and techy, with commercial appeal. BlackwHole uses minor keys on the harmonic piano section which adds mystic to the track. Bringing balance to the arrangement are tinkering bells, a fretless guitar, and an Afrocentric drum loop.

This is what soWhat records had to say about this comeback.
